Privacy Policy

LabNote Chem is designed as a local-first electronic lab notebook. Notebooks, pages, reagents, inventory, equipment, molecules, attachments, settings, and purchase status are stored on the user's device.

The developer does not operate servers that collect personal data from the app. We do not sell user data or use it for third-party advertising or tracking.

The app may access photos, the camera, files, and on-device storage only when the user performs file attachments, report exports, import/export operations, or record management.

The app may connect to Apple's services for in-app purchases and purchase restoration. When using chemical information search features, search terms or CAS numbers may be sent to public chemical databases such as PubChem.

Users are responsible for managing exported files and backups. Deleting the app may remove on-device data that has not been exported or backed up.
